Meh. That’s how I’ve been feeling lately. My hubby and I are exhausted and reeling from the emotional roller coaster that was 2019, but we are tentatively hopeful for a more positive year in 2020. One thing I have decided [after a disappointing visit with my endocrinologist last week] is to take charge of my health for Lent, using this wellness planner as a springboard. I’ve eyed the Erin Condren products for several years, but her Life Planner is just too big for my tastes; so I was glad when she developed the Petite Planner folio system, which is a traveler’s notebook incorporating a variety of pre-printed inserts with her signature bright colors and graphics. Since I am still using my Midori passport size notebook as my calendar planner, I opted to start the Erin Condren with a wellness log and a blank notebook to record my food consumption, activity/exercise, sleep, and journal gratitude and other things that will benefit my mental and emotional health. I also tucked in the devotional book our church is using for Lent, along with the bracket printout for this year’s Lent Madness. I have some decorative items ordered to add to the planner to personalize it even further, which I’ll share when they arrive. I’m excited to see if this tool really will inspire and help me to focus on wellness and a healthier lifestyle. Wish me luck!
